The pandemic of 2020 forced the adoption of many new ways of working for companies worldwide. We Are 778, an award-winning creative agency based on the South Coast, wanted to reimagine how and where they work by creating a safe, productive, enjoyable and most importantly creative workplace.
Acting early, they migrated to a purpose-built contemporary studio that allowed them to have free-reign in how their space should look and feel. A studio that would be a safe haven for employees and clients alike. In addition to the build itself, attention was given to the interior finishes, technology, digital platforms & processes. The role of furniture was also of utmost importance.
"After many hours of trawling the web for the ‘perfect’ creative studio workbench desks and storage, we came across obo based in London. Not only did we find that ‘perfect’ office furniture - the ‘Studio’ range by Bene - but we also found the perfect person, Gary Helm of obo, to help us create the ultimate look and style for our studio.
We wanted a very modern, minimal look where our team could all work around the workbench but far enough away to have their own personal space, but also a setup that we could invite clients into the studio ‘virtually’ through a full digital setup on one wall. Gary put together several amazing proposals and options, all of which were fantastic but we settled on the Studio Workbench and storage from Bene which never fails to impress everyone that sees it.
Gary’s knowledge of the industry and products is second to none and to top it all off he is also a legend and all-round nice guy! obo exceeded all expectations and did it all with a personal and human touch, pulling out all the stops with video calls to show the products first hand in their studio. I cannot thank Gary and his team enough for what they have done for the future of We Are 778 as we have all never felt this creative and happy in a space. We have a partner for life in obo!
